about Mahika Gupta —

Born in New Delhi, India, most of Mahika’s life was spent outside of the country. She grew up in Shenzhen, China, and moved to Hong Kong at seventeen.

She has a BA in Media and Communication, with a focus on advertising and photojournalism. Mahika is an autodidact in graphic design and was drawn to branding because of her interest in problem-solving, human psychology, and visual interactions. Her experience is not limited to and includes managing fourteen individual accounts for Black Sheep Restaurants, rebranding for a B2B wholesale furniture company, developing the visual identity of non-profit art & cultural organisation, along with working as a tour guide for Art Basel in Hong Kong.

Fast forward to the start of the Pandemic - she embodied the reflection of the experiences she collected along her way and during the testing times of Covid-19, decided to establish Qiasmus to rise above the uncertainty.

Mahika is currently accepting freelance projects and collaborations. During her free time, she enjoys painting, pottery & analog photography.
